Description
The FNB Naturally Knysna Trail Run is takes place on 2 Oct 2011. This exhilarating off road trail run, will take competitors through previously inaccessible and unavailable areas of Knysna, and expose trail runners and adventure seekers to the thrilling environment which surrounds us in Knysna. In keeping with the overall ethos of the Naturally Knysna Festival, runners will be forced to dig deep as they cover the challenging natural terrain to overcome that which nature throws at us. The freshness of the forest, the harshness of its steep valley climbs and the immense beauty that inspires us to persevere to the end are but the tip of the iceberg of emotions competitors will experience as they encounter the privilege of the challenges offered by the surrounding area.
Water-side coolth, mountain-side warmth, steep ascents and technical descents. Breath-taking and sweeping 360 degree views of mountain, sea and lagoon … this one is worth the dash! – Brave enough to take on the elements the FNB Naturally Knysna Festival offer you?
What an amazing day it was! The run for me as least went smooth (well done to the organizers) atmosphere was light fun and very friendly. All in all a great day. Nice to see so many people out for the day and taking part in the run!
