The first 3km is run through the streets of Grahamstown, before a jeep track takes runners onto Mountain Drive, for the next 10km. Back onto outlying roads around Grahamstown, tar roads take runners back to the start line.
Unique Fact: This event offers a lovely mixture of a natural landscape and an urban environment – pretty, natural vegetation in full bloom, flanks Mountain Drive.
Medals will be awarded to all finishers and prizes will be awarded to category winners. There will be a prize for king and queen of the mountain, the first to reach the summit of Mountain Drive, and there will be lucky draw prizes up for grabs.
Pre-entries at local sports stores close on 1 August 2012. You can also enter at the pasta evening, on 3 August 2012, or on race day, from 6:30am.
