This is a really tough trail run but well organised and a MUST at least once.
That mountain is really something else…
I’m a slow runner but the area is beautiful and whilst climbing the mountain one may ask ‘what am i doing?’… the view from the top is soooooo worth it.
I am 55yrs of age and running road races very slowly 7mins a km… for me its about having fun.. so as i’ve run Mfuli twice i say if you’re healthy you MUST try it…
Only thing is as a Durbanite it was started at 9.00am in the morning.I’d rather travel early in the light to the race, than leave at 6.30pm (after prizeging) and travel 2hrs in the dark.
