Description
Noordheuwel is an area notorious for its hills, so expect to work hard through this scenic suburb of Krugersdorp.
The first five men and women home win gold medals. The next 100 finishers win silver medals and all other finishers receive bronze. Category winners receive cash prizes.
Entries will be taken on race day.
Well-worth traveling out to Krugersdorp for. The race was well-organised. Marshals were good, waterpoints were well-attended. Received a very nice medal at the finish!
@James you are lucky to get a medal. 3rd year I do this race and every year well organised route and a lot of effort goes into the route safety. Last nite last water point – no water and then ran out of medals to be told it will be posted to you – seriasly do you believe with our postal system it will arrive at the destination? How can club run out of medal, ourclub has also organised many race and rather too many than too little, its not going to waste as it carries over to next year. I want a medal when I finish, its important to me, very dissappointed. Always been my favourite race of the year.
Does anybody with a GPS record how much climbing was in this race? It was a tough route!
