Description
A challenging route, along dirt roads, includes quite a few hills. There will be water tables en-route, but organisers recommend bringing your own water bottle.
Bronze medals will be awarded to all finishers.

Well, ran it for the first time last year 2010. We booked into the “tent sight” and were overjoyed at the tranquility of the place. Hobbled back the second half of the race due to an old running injury.
Walked and ran the race this year 2011. This time we booked into one of the “‘bush camps”. Once again I was wowed . However a “bush-baby” stole some bread and my banana. He he .
WE froze at the start waiting for the dear elephants to move off the demarcated race road. It was all made up by huddling around the fire that was lit to produce mouth-watering hamburgers for after the race.
