There will be refreshments every 3km, and every 2km, during the last 10km of the race.
T-shirts will be given to the first 100 pre-entries of the 42.2km, the first 50 of the 21.1km and the first 50 on the walking race.
Gold medals will be awarded to category winners, silver to runners who finish in under 3 hours and bronze to all other finishes. Stick around for lots of lucky draw prizes, at the end of the race.

Stunning race!!!!!
Beautiful route, well organised with ice-cold water and coke at every water point – I’ll definitely be back, surely a 5-star race!
Beautifull. Peacefull. Good organizing.
Very well organised with super cheap beer at the finish! Thank you to everyone involved for a stunning race. I wool be back.

Alomst 500 runners on the 21.1km
awesome race, not as hot as expected
love the coldwater at the waterpoints

ran my PB
next year,back again
Once again an absolute brilliant race! First, entering the race online through the Dryland.co.za website was a breeze. Great scenery & great route. The organization and water points are still unmatched in SA. Cold water and Coke till the very last water table!
Great, well organised. Waterpoints had ice cold water all day – even for us 42km back markers. The finish area had great displays with many of THe Oudtshoorn businesses supporting the Infantry School effort. WELL DONE – will definitely be back.
Very well organised, super support from SANDF at water tables.
