Description
The 2012 Dis-Chem Pharmacies Half-Marathon will celebrate its 11th anniversary in 2012. The route offers a slightly more difficult run than in previous years. Organisational efficiency and high-value goodie bags are well received by all entrants.
Once again, the Rehidrat Sport 5km DASH will be run in conjunction with the main event / half marathon.

This was a very well organised event. It’s a pity a lot of runners placed themselves in a higher starting category then they should have been contributing to a congested start. When you register you get one of the best goodie bags in the country with a lovely t-shirt..
Awesome race pack with lots of goodies. The race itself was nice and challenging, will definitely add it to my annual list of races!
Gr8 race my 21k cool goodie bag I did 1:54 due to incorrect seedings def doing it annually. Gr8 start to the year tough course though.
Great run. This race has always given amazing goodie bags away going back to when I started if not before in 1993 when it was still sponsered by Bliss. Finished in 1:50:51. The seeding helped to keep the walkers and slower runners at the back and we had a very good start from B seeding, losing only 1min in the first km.
Very well organised! Tough, but nice route.
