   The scenery was beautiful, 95% TRAIL and intense hill training. Registration was a breeze, plenty food and drinks at the start, prompt start with added attraction of Harvard airplanes flyover, trumpets, bagpipes and Cannon shot to signal start (!!!). Adequate water and coke at all tables, including oranges from first table. Plenty interest and never boring! Very good organisation. Lots of prizes at prize giving – to ordinary running folk like me, who don’t get to stand on the podium!

   Loved it! Amazing trail running, tough but so worth the view and the herd of zebra stampeding past.
   Everything was fantastic, will be back next year.

   Awesome race. Well organised. The start as described above was memorable. The last 5km make you realise why it’s called “VASBYT”, really tough. Views of the Gautrain and seeing the Gautrain on test runs was nice. Will definitely be back next year. Nice medal too.

   `n Uiters goed georganiseerde wedloop – die verbyvlug en kanonskoot vir die afsit was nogal `n belewenis !!Die roete is `n goeie mengsel van pad en landloop.Die steil bulte het my laat verlang na `n kierie -gelukkig het die hardlopers in die enkelvoetpaadjie bult-op gestap , en sodoende ook vir my die kans gegee om lekker te stap……is definitief volgende jaar terug.Wel gedaan aan die organiseerders!!!

   What an awesome and challenging race! Loved every minute of it! Vasbyt is the only name for this race. And running the stairs at end was the absolute cherry on top. Will be back next year for revenge!

   I had an excellent run, only my 2nd one. Improved my time by 26 mins…loved the start and being handed a medal by a true gentleman at the end. Very well organised. I will definitely be back next year. Thank you to everyone who made the event enjoyable,

   This year was my 4th and believe it or not, the first one was my very first 21.1km. (Old route) As long as I run this event will always be rated tops ( has run in all 9 provinces over the past 4 years of running. (Started at the age of 54), but this will remain the best followed by the wild challange at Loskop dam. Thanks to Dinamika Makelaars for this fantastic experience,

    Was my first one and I loved it! I also experienced the herd of zebra as mentioned above. Beautifully organised and what a pleasure to run! Such fun! I will definately be back next year!

    Great race! Started on time once again with the all the buildup with Bagpipes, planes and the big gun. Much nicer and tougher course this year!
