Another tough course but a great one nonetheless. A nice balance of off-road and tar. Good watering tables, good vibe, love the bag pipe player who seems to draw you up Norfolk hill.
Lovely race.
A challenging course which seemed a little short on the watch (14.75km on my Garmin) but not on the legs. Good value for the R40 with a handout before (socks) and after the race (shampoo) and a good size medal. Piper at the start and at the top of Norfolk Hill added to the vibe of the race. Plenty of parking with all-round good organisation. I can’t say anything bad about the race, particularly after notching up my PB for this course and dipping under 90 minutes for the first time on this testing route.
This was my first 15 km attempt and am very pleased with the overall organisation of the race. Kudos to the organisers. The Norfolk Hill was a killer though, considering the fact that it is positioned towards the end of the race. Overall, it was a fantastic race.
Nice race. Tough uphill finish.
No doubt a tough and hilly 15km course but run on quite country roads for the most part. Great organisation (I liked the socks at entry – much more functional than a medal!). Relaxing in the sun on the finishing field after the race was most enjoyable. The harder the run the more you enjoy the rest! Parking and entries well organised. No complaints at all. The fitter you are the more you’ll get out of this run.
