   Given the time of the year this is always a great social race. The course is ideal with a bit of hard work in the early stages rewarded with a good fast finishing stretch. The race is always well organised and with an eight o’ clock start some of the early morning winter chill has lifted. The venue and the finish are great for a race but the one parking exit after the race was a fatal flaw. It took me over 30 minutes to exit the parking and that detracted from what would have been a five-star race.

   Fabulous race- great route, smiling marshalls and pretty scenery

   First few km’s hard up and the last few fast down. Had a great race, loved the route and scenery. Good looking medal to boot. The downer was the major bottleneck at the parking entrance.
