This morning, I was staring bleary-eyed at my computer, silently debating whether I should take a quick stroll up the street for a much-needed caffeine injection, when RW Ed Mike loped past and invited me for a free coffee.
My initial reaction was that we were having an impromptu team meeting and I wondered if I should desperately think of something to report back on. I suddenly became aware of the presence of a few unknown individuals. Team red espresso® (if I may take the liberty of calling them that) had arrived at our offices to present to us their fantastic new product.

red espresso® has brought the mypressi Twist to the South African marketplace. This awesome little gadget is a portable espresso machine. All you need is boiling water, ground coffee (not that instant coffee filth) and youre good to go!
I was instantly served a knock-my-socks off double espresso. Team red espresso® also treated us to some delicious Fresh Reds: iced tea made from red espresso®. Are you wondering, what is red espresso®?
red espresso® is a rooibos cappuccino. Yes red espresso has taken rooibos tea leaves, ground them to a consistency similar to filter coffee, to be used in the same way as filter coffee. Jam packed with all the goodness of Rooibos tea, sans the caffeine, and served in the same way as coffee.
This is great but how is this relevant to Runners World, you may be wondering?
On more than one occasion Ive found myself on a long(ish) trail run, found an awesome vantage point with panoramic views of, say, Table Bay and thought to myself man, itd be awesome to have a coffee here.
