There sure is.
Sports detergents available at Sportsmans Warehouse, Cape Storm and Cape Union Mart are specifically made to remove the lingering odor from technical apparel.
These items tend to trap sweat residue in their fibres while transferring moisture off your skin, and it’s this residue that creates the stinky bouquet. Some, like Nikwax Tech Wash, not only clean and deodourise a shirt, but also refresh its wicking properties. Some new tops are constructed to fight lingering odours by using antimicrobial agents, such as silver fibres or Cocona, that attack the stench before it settles in.

You can also try soaking the garment in bicarbonate of soda and water. Dissolve about 4 tablespoons of baking soda in 1 liter of warm water and soak your garment overnight to remove strong smells.
In Scandinavia we have “tallsåpa”, that’s something like “pine-soap”. Do you have something similar to that you also got the cure for any kind of odor.
FungiSolve is the product to use – cleans and removes odours completely. 10ml per litre of cold water and leave it to stand.
Your smelly gear won’t cause you to want to take a detour around them anymore!!
